The All-Wall name is on every box, and we are continually re-evaluating every brand to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our rating system. The All-Wall Rating System is designed to help maximize your investment in tools, and ensure that your tools remain working strong and efficient for years to come.
How we determine the rating?
Quality
The quality rating starts by asking- How long will it last? What is it made up of, and where is it made? The All-Wall service and repair department is the place where we can look at how tools are really holding up. Because of the high volume of repairs that are performed at our facility, we can accurately compare tools, brands, cost of repairs, and wear characteristics of parts. The tools and brands with consistently lower repair costs come from higher quality manufacturing and materials. The influx of parts made in China and other overseas locations have consistently scored the lowest marks with our repair technicians. The materials from overseas have been inferior, and subject to an extreme amount of corrosion and wear in short periods of time. High rated tools are made up of billet aluminum, marine grade aluminum, and high grade stainless steel. These tools are assembled and manufactured in the USA and Canada. Lower rated tools generally have a large amount of overseas production.
Warranty
The All-Wall evaluation of Warranty is more than just looking at the length of the warranty period. In fact, the key factor in a warranty is the speed of problem resolutions. We understand that an All-Wall customer demands the most out of their tools, and should expect the same from All-Wall and the Manufacturer of the equipment they purchase. For this reason, how the warranty is applied is just as important as the length of warranty period. Higher rated tools and brands will deliver the best in warranty service, coverage, and get you back on job faster with less hassle.
Value
This is one of our key rating system categories. Value is bang-for-the-buck. Tools and brands that rate high simply offer more for your money. More quality (see Quality), better Warranty (see Warranty) at better pricing than other tools or sets in that category.
Customer Satisfaction
The most important of all categories, this is the real teeth of the star rating. All-Wall offers a satisfaction guarantee, and tools that don't pass this test are never rated high.
