The SL1500 delivers the legendary durability of the Airlessco SL “Slow Stroker” pump designed to deliver the spraying power needed for high volume output with very heavy coatings.
The 1500 is powered by a dependable fan-cooled, 1.25 HP totally enclosed DC motor. The heavy duty gearbox and crankshaft are so sturdy, you might think you are looking at a small automobile engine! A quiet, maintenance free toothed belt is used for the motor drive.
The heart of any contractor sprayer is the pump, and the durability of the SL “Slow Stroker” piston pump is legendary amongst pro painters. It features an extra-long hardened stainless steel piston. the 1500 has the foot valve at the bottom of the pump generating the extremely high suction required when applying heavy materials like drywall mud.
Durability is enhanced by a large, tungsten carbide ball and reversible seat. Airlessco’s patented externally adjustable triple life packings are the only packing system with external adjustment of both upper and lower packings. No getting stuck on the job with blown packings and a sprayer full of material about to harden!
